I came alive on our trip to Turks & Caicos!

For the last few years, we have had our focus on building, prioritizing, and giving - building a foundation for the future, prioritizing careers and stability, and giving time and money for the people in our life. With all those factors and being such a homebody, travel has not really been on my radar at all.

BUT, I did not realize how revitalizing travel could be. How uplifting and refreshing it is to get a change of scenery and routine, slow down, experience God's incredible creation, get inspired by a new place, and truly take it all in! The island living, sea breeze, slow mornings, salty waves in my hair, sun-kissed skin, and more. I just felt so inspired!

One of the things that spoke to my creativity the most was the fashion. Waking up to another slow morning and picking your bikini and cover up combo for the day, post beach day festive dinner outfit, and fun accessories that tied everything together just added to the joy and recharge of the trip.

The Swim + Cover Ups

The go to combo: classic bikini + oversized pants + trendy rubber flip flops. There is nothing quite like having a solid line up of swim for a summer trip.

The Dinner Outfits

I added in fun and creative moments into my dinner outfits. I loved coming off the beach, showering, and hopping into a festive, already planned fit. The island was the perfect opportunity to play with fun pieces (sequin mini skirt, bandanas, and lace see through skirt), but also have casual moments that felt like cool, laid back beach gal.

The Accessories

My stand out accessories were my monogramed canvas beach tote (obsessed with her!!) and my raffia cowboy hat. I will be using them all summer long!

I am already planning our next beach getaway!

xx, AJ
