layered looks

IMO... nothing says "you are so cool" quite like a layered fashion look.

I'm LIVING for layers right now. Of course making the winter layers a little unique and fun as we enter into February with different jackers, scarfs, and sweaters, but I am so looking forward to the funky, layered spring fits.

Silk and lace dresses under t-shirts, t-shirts layered under silk and lace dresses (circa 2008 ish), sweatshirts elevated with a lace or textured long sleeve, windbreakers with silk and lace layered underneath (feels so 80s but with modern textures and colors), unique patterned and textured scarfs used as belts or draped over the shoulders, button downs and sweaters tied around the waste (a remembered art from the 2010s), and so much moooooore.

Not only do layers bring such a unique flair to your fashion sense, but they are the perfect way to take a comfortable or basic outfit and look effortlessly put together! Like what a joy it is to be comfortable AND chic!

A layered look says.... " quiet confidence" ... "I don't know how that works but it does!" ... "she is effortlessly chic and cool"

So much to say I am a layers lover. Take basic pieces, add in some unexpected or funkier elements, or style basics in a new way, and you have such a notable, unique, but effortless look.
