May was for the happy little moments.
I settled into slowness and ease, experienced joy and gratitude in the little things, enjoyed living life with my friends and family, and started to feel the summer feels.
the month in faith
My walk with Jesus felt serene in May. I started making my way through Meeting God in Quiet Places by F Lagard Smith, and it has been a revitalizing and restful time of study and reflection.
I also spent a lot of time in prayer over the things I can't control. I released the question marks, uneasiness, and uncertainty over to the One who holds it all.
the month in it's finest
May's finest: time with family, days trips, the color red, a new home office setup, conversations of growth and future plans with H, pulling out swim for the season, growing connection with my horse, moments of pause, fun new shoes, a special weekend with friends, and just being

Some key players: my new Salomons, white tees, track pants, brown blazer, leggings, cowhide clutch, lace layers, red star nails, and classic wire rim sunglasses
I vibed with ease, comfort, and minimal sporty chic all month long.
One way I kept it fun and interesting even in the ease was with pops of color - it's giving simple but cool girl summer. Give me all of the bright colored athletic shorts paired with lace tops or white tees, Salomons in every color, fun pops in accessories, and effortless looks that optimize comfort while looking super chic. The basics plus high-quality color moments is definitely going to be my go to all summer long.
In May, I wrote a blog post about primary color pops heading into summer. You can read that here and shop the item curation below!

the month in home
May was a month to settle in and enjoy our home. It was a refreshing reminder that the majority of home is spent just being content, living life within four walls, and finding rest. I reflected on gratitude for a place of rest, love, safety, and creative expression.
I loved adding in pops of red with fresh flowers and magazines, restructured my office to feel super functional, and added new touches of inspiration to my pinboard. Home is in the little things.
