The first official month of spring!
March called for consistency with habits and goals even when the motivation and passion was as fleeting as the winter season. With life's ebs and flows, prioritizing your goals, joys, and purpose can slip away sometimes with a sneaky ease. Leaning on times of clarity, reviewing my goals, and remembering life isn’t all about improving, helped me to find my footing again this month.
the month in faith
My relationship with Jesus is not transactional (and thank goodness for that because, man, do I not have anything of value to offer to Him).
Being a perfectionist and goal getter tends to leave me wanting to do everything right. I aim to achieve with excellence, show up in the world with purpose, and maintain a positive mindset as much as I can. These are all really great things but I realized I sometimes use my relationship with Jesus as a means to an end instead of Him being my end goal. I focus so much on the good fruit produced in my life because of His work in me instead of focusing on my relationship with Him.
I am so thankful that a relationship with Jesus produces a character of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control because of who He is, not because of anything I did or how I tried to show up perfectly. BUT even without those things, a relationship with Him is enough!
the month in it's finest
March’s finest: little color moments, weekly fresh flowers, nailing my natural makeup look, hours at the ranch, fun spring fits, exciting additions to our home, roll the windows down kind of music, family car rides, and feeling the benefits of prioritizing my health over the last few months.

the month in fashion + beauty
Some key players: light brown blazer, windbreakers, layers, slouchy trouser shorts, classic sunnies, and natural nails
So, what were my favorite fashion pieces I was vibing with in March as the crisp winter air was exchanged for sunshine, new life, and lifted spirits? Of course I was living for my basics like my white tees and tanks and elevated legging looks, but I added some fun color moments that I loved. My favorite spot of color that was the best funky addition to any outfit was my green suede flats. I also loved a good blazer moment with this striped light brown blazer
that I added to my collection.
One trend I am 10000% here for is the slouchy trouser or denim bermuda short trend, and I think I found the perfect ones. I sized up for a loose fit, and they will definitely be a piece that I wear on repeat this season and heading into summer. I need all 3 colors! Shop the perfect spring shorts here!
Chic, classic accessories were the name of the game this past month with these effortless looking black wire rim sunnies and brown leather work tote.
Natural nails and makeup ruled my month and kept me feeling effortlessly chic, put together, and low maintenance. A new addition to my makeup routine was the Rhode Peptide Lip Shape in color ‘Press’. When I tell you this is the most effortless application, gorgeous spring color, and easy lip with some chapstick…. I mean it!

the month in home
Give me all the green, baby!!
I loved green additions in the home this past month. I love the way green compliments browns, tans, beiges, and different wood finishes. It added little zests of spring around my space that brought moments of calm and joy.
Some of my favorite touches of green included: the gorgeous striped green pillow, my new desk art, textile art above our mantle, the perfect green shade coffee table book, vintage cowgirls book, and of course, fresh flowers
Fresh flowers bring such a feeling of presence, whimsy, and routine to your spring. I loved romanticizing my weekly flower runs after church and filling vases to start a week feeling fresh and revitalized.
I had a few favorite additions to my home this past month. One was my dream rug that I have been wanting for so long. It is gorgeous with a beautiful rich fawn color and the texture is to die for. My husband also gifted me an amazing wood stool that I have had my eye on for my pinboard/magazine corner in my office. It is the most beautiful, handmade, one-of-a-kind piece, and it was the perfect addition to my corner of inspiration.
home wishlist + favorites for spring:
the month in living
1-3. Flowers, flowers, flowers - it's fresh flower season! This was a favorite part of my weekly routine; Sunday post church flower run.
4. A coffee shop work day - particularly loved the vibes in here that day. Next month, I want to aim to spend a little bit more time outside of my house, trying new places, and switching up the work spots.
5. Pilates please - still loving my pilates addition to my workout split! I'm definitely starting to reap the benefits of prioritizing my health and stewarding my body over these last few months. Still going strong with my 6am weekly pilates class.
6. Strawberry iced matcha all spring - matcha just goes hand and hand with spring from me. Maybe it is also just a continuation of my green obsession right now???
7-9. Time at the ranch - I spent a lot of time at the ranch this past month. I go ride, learn, study and H comes with me to hang out with the goats lol.
10. Date night - a little dinner and shopping date night with my love. We try to incorporate one date night a week to stay connected, try new things, and break up the week.
11. Monthly mag snag - my favorite time of the month!
12-13. Tulip picking day date - the season was closing the next day so we only walked away with one little tulip, but it was still a fun way to get into the spring feels.
14. My tiny to-go Bible
15. Sprite Zero - such a vibe this past month! It hits warmer months and I need a Sprite Zero or Topo Chico in my hand!
16. My Coldstone order - sweet cream icecream, yellow cake, brownie, frosting, gummy bears, marshmallows, and rainbow sprinkles. Elite.
17. The little girl any time a window is open
18. Church members!! - we joined a church this past month! We are super excited to get plugged in and serve. We have been going through Joshua and the importance of the formation of our character in the waiting.
19. Passport picture - like it kind of turned out alright??? It was finally time to renew the passport after 5 years of marriage lol + we are going on a fun trip this summer.
20. The hair day fit - living for these shorts all spring long!
21. My song of the month - heard it in a pilates class and it became my anthem hahaha. It reminded me that life is really not that serious and if I'm just living my life, stewarding my gifts, and doing what I feel called to do... I can make it look easy too.
